Meet Sarah

Sarah Maskill, CFP®

Founder and President

Sarah is the Founder and President of Financial Answers, LLC. A cum laude graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and dual majors, Sarah has been a practicing financial advisor for 22 years, earning her CFP designation in 2007. The readers of the North Central News have voted Sarah as the “Best Financial Advisor” in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

She knows that most financial help emphasizes the sale of investment or insurance products rather than objective advice, and that most financial advisors are not legally obligated to act in a client's best interest. Although some financial advisors are fiduciaries, they frequently impose income, net worth, or investable asset minimums, making their services inaccessible for most people.

Sarah believes that objective, fiduciary-caliber financial advice is something that everyone should have access to. "I am passionate about helping people make smart choices with their money and helping them get their financial house in order. No matter what happens in the market, the economy, or the world, people can still achieve their financial goals."

Sarah lives in Somers, Connecticut with her husband and two sons. She enjoys working on their 1795 farmhouse and learned very quickly that nothing is level or square.

Financial planners help you address financial concerns. Most people think that all financial advisors are "certified." This simply isn't true. Anyone can call themselves a "financial planner." No minimum experience or education is required by law.

At Financial Answers, LLC we believe that you deserve the attention of an experienced, credentialed professional with the highest ethical standards. Our financial planners are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners.

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioners have taken the extra steps to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to a rigorous certification process, meeting the requirements for ongoing certification, and embracing the CFP® Board's Code of Ethics: to act with integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence. See Sarah Maskill’s credentialing here.

The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®,CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the US, which it awards to individuals who successfully complete the CFP® Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
